Arthurs Steakhouse started in 1948 by Arthurs Bates and his wife off of McKinney Avenue in the Dallas uptown District. It moved to the Gold Towers on Central Expressway and after decades, in 2001, it relocated to Addison where is thrives today. The food was average, the service was excellent, the noise level was so high ( this was before the live music), it was hard to speak to those at my table. However, after dinner, we went over to the bar where a band was playing and people were dancing. The band was great and the bar area was packed. We had a great time.
