Butera's Restaurant of Sayville is a full service, fine dining "Family-Style" Italian restaurant serving seafood, steaks, veal, chicken and pastas dishes. Throughly enjoyed our dinner with dear friends. We appreciate the owner and her daughter/chef came over to chat with us after dinner. It is my second time dining at Sunflower and will be back and will well recommend! Fish done to perfection, Everything we had was outstanding..mussels with an amazing curry sauce, filet mignon, cod over lemon risotto, filet of sole, soups, oysters, pate..and a perfect wine selection. Bravo!

The view, as promised, is beautiful. Food is excellent. I had the calamari appetizer, which was just the right level of spicy, and the shrimp Cobb salad, with a fabulous chocolate martini for dessert. Our waitress was affable and efficient.
