The Charles Hotel’s Executive Chef, Sean Lizotte, helms Henrietta’s Table and has designed a menu of "honest to goodness New England cooking."Henrietta's Table has been at the forefront of farm-to-table dining since before it was a trend or a hashtag. Located in the heart of Harvard Square, you don't need a degree to appreciate our simple, homemade flavors - just like you'd find in Grandma's kitchen. The Ritz cracker crusted scrod, Yankee pot roast and warm grain bowl are some of our guests' favorite dishes. Our menus rotate daily based on availability from our local farmers and artisans, pushing our chefs to constantly create mouthwatering dishes that let the ingredients shine.
A New American Tavern, Russell House Tavern is a comfortable gathering spot for every occasion-from casual lunch breaks on the patio to after-work cocktails in the upstairs tavern to functions in the private dining room and everything in between. Russell House Tavern delivers a seasonally-inspired menu of modern interpretations of American classics, including signatures like the R. House Burger, a selection of Tavern Pizzas and Steak Frites among other dishes. To complement the menu, Russell House Tavern serves an interesting collection of all-American wines, including two regional wines on tap, and a locally-driven craft beer selection. The cocktail menu strikes a balance between familiar classics and modern hand-crafted recipes using only fresh juices, homemade syrups and infusions.
The Merchant is a big space that served for more than a century as a leather store. We've brought in high-top tables near the windows ... a 40-foot bar on one side of the room … and more formal dining spots on the opposite side. We have a private dining room in back, and another private dining room downstairs. For our menu, we make almost all of our fare from scratch. Executive chef Ignacio Lopez previously worked at both Beat Hotel in Cambridge and Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington. Chef Lopez cures and smokes all the meat in house. Our burger is top-notch, as are other dishes like house-made Gnochhi, Organic Chicken Milanaise and Steak Frites. The Merchant serves salads, sandwiches ($15-$21), and more for the lunch rush. And for dinner, we are a full-service brasserie (with most entrees ranging from $25-$30). The bar has 30+ rotating beers on tap, many of them locally brewed, plus a full selection of craft cocktails to serve our patrons, including the after-work crowd.
The Lexington is the hub of Cambridge Crossing, led by Chef/Owner Will Gilson. The space features a gorgeous roof deck and is the go-to destination for after work drinks, evening get-togethers, and possibly the first or last stop of an evening out. The Lexington offers seasonal outdoor seating with views of The Common.The Lexington has been designed with an open greenhouse layout, and can accommodate full buyouts of business events, weddings, or seasonal holiday parties. It also features a private dining room with seating for up to 30 guests.
