We, Hashiri Bettei Kaiseki Aoki, deliver the experience of “kaiseki ryori,” a type of Japanese fine dining which historically developed to be served in the Japanese tea room. The tea room, as a space, symbolizes the home of the Japanese tea ceremony, a simple yet transformative experience offering a pause in time to appreciate the seemingly small experience of sharing tea. As such, we’ve designed both the architecture and the experience, to condense an infinite expanse into an extremely small space.The space is designed sans distracting elements. Lighting will be subtle and architectural details are clean yet warm. Food was amazing! Practically licked my plate clean. Despite the sign outside that said “please wait to be seated” we waited and no one came. So we walked inside and found someone to seat us. Mind you, we had reservations, but seemed odd we weren’t welcomed or greeted. Our server was polite and quick but nothing impressive. No meal suggestions. No “have you dined with us before?” Almost like we interrupted her day. Didn’t even say what the soup of the day was. Basically took our order. Someone else brought food and cleared the dishes. I’d return just for another meal though!

Best experience! Everything was so thoughtful and well organized! I just loved everyy about it. I might advice to focus a bit more on the plating - like pretty cups utensils, etc (just nice to have). Thank you everything was super tasty and great!
