Della Santina's Trattoria in Sonoma, San Francisco is a traditional Italian restaruant serving recipes mostly from Lucca, Italy. It was founded by Quirico (Dan) and Shirley Della Sanitina. With the passing of Shirley Della Santina - Quirico, his son Robert and wife Nicole continue to carry on the family business and Tuscan traditions. Quirico is the chef behind the menu and has provided what's been described as Italian comfort food in a gorgeously authentic Italian setting. When you walk in the front entrance you'll be greeted by truly Italian decorations and design, as well as fresh flowers on every table. Napa Valley Bistro was opened in 2013 by chefs Bernardo Ayala and Ernesto Martinez, (also co-owner of Market in St. Helena). Their friendship and working relationship, which has lasted over 20 years was so successful, they decided to pool their resources and stake a claim in downtown Napa's expanding culinary scene. Their aim was to create their own version of classic world cuisine in a comfortable space where family and community could gather for any occasion. The twist is evident in the menus, which sample fare from around the globe. Guests can choose from traditionally prepared Mexican Empanadas or timeless American favorites like the Lamb Burger and St. Louis Ribs. Other options include Vegetarian Spring Rolls, Chinese Chicken Salad and Seasonal Risotto. Our Wine & Beer List includes local wines leaning toward small producers & craft brews.
