BARCOA Agaveria is a basement bar that celebrates the spirits of Mexico.     Fantastic experience, it feels like the perfect hole in the wall but with wonderful food worthy of the James Beard award they earned. The sauce on the Ceviche was masterful, the flavors in every one of their salsas perfectly balanced. The LONE nitpick I could find was the $300 price tag on the steak dish, would have loved to try it, but I can’t see how spending $224 more than the chicken platter could possibly be worth the additional cost. Would love to see a second more reasonable steak option here.

    Second visit and this place did not disappoint. The food was amazing - the ribeye and the wagyu carpaccio were incredible. I absolutely love the rustic-luxurious feel. Plus the historic touch makes for an excellent vibe for an upscale audience.
