Family owned and run Mua was one of the first restaurants to open in what was then Auto Row in Oakland, in 2008. We celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday with a brunch. Twelve happy and well-fed people! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed incredible food, a jazz ensemble, and a wonderful ambiance. We loved the ricotta pancakes, shrimp toast, and huevos rancheros. Everything was perfect!!

I drive over from Tiburon just to visit Brandon, Steven, and the team here. The pizza is better than anything we have in Marin and it’s worth the trip, the hospitality makes it even better. The cozy corner booth with a view of the bar and fire and the kitchen? What more could you want? This place is perfect. We love it. There’s nowhere else we’d rather have a pizza party.
