Bright and airy, with a vintage retro style and featuring distressed wooden tables topped in white marble, salvage greenhouse window frames and comfy linen banquettes, Salt continues Avoca’s emphasis on serving delicious, seasonal dishes with largely locally sourced ingredients. Salt's name comes its Salthill locale - which itself was derived from salt works that were once here - plus the nearby sea and, of course, the seasoning. Had a super night last night in The Purty Kitchen. Food was delicious and the setting was really nice and cozy. After our lovely meal we went upstairs for the “When Ireland Rocked” show which was fantastic. Definitely recommend

Last Friday was a special occasion for us and the Guiney Pig did not let us down. The food was a wonderfull experience and the attention to detail by Kevin the Maitre D and this daughter who served us made our visit perfect. We will be back and I recommend the Guinea Pig Restaurant in Dalkey to anyone .
