Roly's Bistro first opened its doors in 1992 and has served traditional European cuisine ever since. Lunch is served in the Bistro on Wednesday to Sunday with Monday and Tuesday lunch being served in The Terrace Restaurant. Dinner is served in the Bistro seven evenings a week. The menu caters for most palates with a Goat's cheese and vegetable tart and a selection of meat dishes from Roly's butcher block, such as sirloin steak and rib of prime Irish steak. Roly's Bistro is famous for it's fresh Dublin Bay Prawns Scampi & Chips, Fresh Dublin Bay Prawns with Garlic, Chilli & Ginger Butter and Dublin Bay Prawn Cocktail.

Salt's name comes its Salthill locale - which itself was derived from salt works that were once here - plus the nearby sea and, of course, the seasoning. Definitely coming back. Food was incredible and the staff were excellent although it was extremely busy due to a rugby international and when they were under pressure the service suffered. Our dinner was finished and noone available to clear our table but it was understandable given the circumstances. We still very much enjoyed it and the food was delicious. Bottom line we will be back

We had such an enjoyable evening. The waitress was very friendly and looked after us really well. The pianist was amazing creating such a lovely vibe. The food was delicious. We'll definitely be going back again soon.
