Date night with my birthday man ❤️🥂 ❤️ Celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday in this intimate, a bit mysterious, and effortlessly cool restaurant. With only six lucky parties dining, the evening was a culinary mouthwatering journey from stunning appetizers to Scandinavian-inspired dishes that were pure art (even the fresh bread rolls were heavenly!). We were pleasantly surprised. We ordered what our server recommended and it did not disappoint. We shared three meals and no one could pick a favorite. We'll definitely be back!!! We had fried green tomatoes with crawfish, the sampler (jambalaya, gumbo and crawfish pie) Rita's chicken and Pasta Monica. Beignets and Praline bread pudding for dessert.

Service was rather slow, but it's understandable when you consider it's basically one person in a kitchen the size of something you'd like at home. That said, the food is terrific. Even better that it's interesting food, too (not the same stuff you can get anywhere). The wine was extremely reasonably priced as well.

Rick is always great. He is so nice and attentive as well as just being a genuinely good human being.
