Populairste Zuid-indiase restaurants in East Melbourne

I dined with 3 people - one of us has coeliac who, based on previous experiences, is very cautious to go out and order food in a restaurant with reassurance that it is gluten free. The staff here were fantastic and very accommodating of our needs, reassuring us multiple times that the poppadoms and other dishes were gluten free which was a huge relief. Happy to report that our coeliac diner had no ill effects (which can even happen with supermarket GF bread) so this was a huge plus and an excellent meal. The food we did order was incredible - I'm still thinking about their rum beef ribs and the goat and chicken curries we ordered were as good as any multi-award winning curry houses in the UK. Can't recommend the service and the food enough, although I'd recommend they light up the stairs a little better because they're a bit tricky to navigate after dark!

Authentic, quirky, sophisticated. Loved the execution.

The meals were substatial and tasty. The Thali was super and so was the Chicken 65 as well as all the other dishes. The service was great the friendly staff always there to help in any way.. The ambience was soothing just needed that music to make it a bit more lively.
