Populairste Midden-oosterse restaurants in Matawan

We haven't been here in quite some time, and saw the menu had been updated, so decided to try it out. We sat at the chefs table and got to watch the behind the scenes cooking. Everything that came out of the kitchen was meticulously plated. Everything looked beautiful! We started with the “Salatim” and the Shishito. For our entrees we had the Schnitzel and the Squash. Everything was excellent! My husband usually gets steak, but seeing Schnitzel after schnitzel come out of the kitchen, he wanted to give it a try. He said it was the best chicken he has ever had. My Squash (vegan option) was delicious! We will definitely be back soon!

It was a great resturant and birthday experience for my mom. Beautiful place for to take pictures and celebrate a birthday!

I really enjoy dining at Mera, everyone is so friendly. The ambiance is amazing and the vibe is chill, cocktails are as amazing as the bartender who makes them! Food is great amazing selection to choose from will be returning (If I don’t go I call for carry out)

We enjoyed our meal. Atmosphere is lovely and authentic. Very friendly service. Get the cigars with the sweet spicy sauce. The Casablanca tagine with lamb, prunes and almonds was outstanding. BYOB. Looking forward to our next experience there. We will bring our friends too!

Friends recommended this place and it did not disappoint! Went on the Thursday before Labor Day weekend so everyone was out of town and it was nice and quiet. Our waiters were terrific, we weren’t rushed at all and spent 2.5 hours with our group. I had the octopus main and it’s top 3 I’ve ever had. Would def go back!
