Simmer Huang launched on the market in 2004. The main feature of its dish is to apply the traditional cooking method of ‘simmering’ to modern catering. It is cooked completely by the water of the food itself, without adding water to the pot. First visit to Hutong but certainly won’t be my last. Saturday brunch menu was superb and “freeflow” starters a real highlight. Excellent service in the bar beforehand and throughout the meal. In and out in just under 2 hours but never felt rushed.

Fantastic food, we had a mixture of Sushi and Dim Sum on this occasion. with particular standouts being the Char Sui pork and the Otoro sashimi. Lovely ambience and enjoyed the Chinese New Year dancers along with fun chance to try on the beautifully crafted headress's! Looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu and sake selection.

The food is always consistently good, i always go for the chicken simmer hotpot. I’ve bought friends and family here lots of times and they’ve all enjoyed it.
