Woodies’ is an award winning, privately owned Free House tucked away in the depths of New Malden. We are a uniquely decorated venue with memorabilia dating back to the last century. The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Some of the best pub food I've had, it tasted like it was cooked on the premises as opposed to the usual identikit menu from a generic food services company, where it is just heated up and served. Will return.

Lovely restaurant - excellent food and good service. Big sports screens in the bar - not sure they are really necessary later in the evening in all areas. Very good value and will definitley return.
