On the doorstep of the bustling Borough Market, the first Casa do Frango lies within a converted 19th-century industrial warehouse, a building full of character, complete with vaulted ceilings, arched windows and relics of the past. Casa’s menu is inspired by the rich culinary history of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean. True to Portuguese tradition, there is an emphasis on cooking over a wood-charcoal grill. The restaurant has become known for piri-piri chicken, with perfectly caramelised skin and a deep flavour which comes from a brush of Casa’s secret piri-piri blend. The menu offers so much more, with small and large plates all designed to share. Everything at Casa is made fresh in-house, using top quality, locally sourced ingredients. We started with great martinis, accompanied by hand carved Iberico Ham. Menu choices centred around Portuguese influenced dishes and some fab veggie choices - the sweet potato and black bean main is the best ever. Fresh fish and char-grilled meats also. Highly recommend

It was a weekday and we were the only people there. However, we have been there on a Saturday before and it was packed. They have to turn people away. The food was great except one starter I ordered was not available and one desert was also not available. That aside the food is excellent and very authentic Would definitely go back.
