very enjoyable food was excellent had a lovely evening.

Prawn and salmon starters were excellent. Less impressed with the fish curry that was made with coley, was ok. The bhindi dopiaza was nice. The ambiance is good and the decor looks great, a welcome addition to Chorleywood. Service was a little slow at times but friendly. Came to about £55 a head with only one drink so a little steep considering we had tea instead of dessert. Would go again but not for the fish curry!

We had an amazing evening. The food was delicious too and the friendly service was excellent too. Overall, will recommend it to all.

The food was excellent as was the service. If you are looking for delicious, well presented food in an intimate atmosphere, the Samrat should be high on your list.
