Very good and inventive food. Unusual combinations. Noise level is very high. Hope they can find ways to improve it. Hard to have a conversation.

Celebrating a friends birthday. We gathered early so we could chat and catch up. Had a lovely booth for 5 of us. Everyone enjoyed the menu choices and felt we’d had a special meal in a special place. Excellent hospitality and service from the staff.

Pleasant and plentiful buffet brunch in a comfortable room with an expansive view of the club’s golf course. Friendly service.

Every dish I have had at Canoe has been delicious. They offer a large variety of dishes and each time I return, I try something else. Last night, it was the seafood risotto, each bite offering a delectable mouthful of lobster, scallops or shrimp. The GF coffee cake was warm and delicious! I look forward to returning soon!

My wife and I had an excellent meal last night at The Halston. Started with some wine from a fairly extensive but reasonably priced beverage list and proceeded to order a Tuna Sashimi appetizer followed by 2 entrees that we shared which were the prime sirloin steak and the Nova Scotia salmon. The steak came to the table sliced into about 15 slices and cooked perfect to medium rare. The salmon was broiled and came with some roasted corn. We ordered some creamed spinach as well and shared a brownie for dessert. Our server Chris was attentive but not bothersome and all in all, a great meal. We will return for another meal in the near future.
