Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. Seated in a cosy corner and it was surprisingly quiet. Great little venue - small enough that the service was excellent. The milkshakes were amazing, and the burger really fill you up.

Would recommend to meat lovers who like the raw low key fun experience. Great venue with great atmosphere - good music, good attentive service, good drinks, great food for meat lovers. Environment - Low key, loud, smokey, bustling restaurant. Expect an assult on your sense in this purposely low-lit basement smokehouse - providing focus on flaming centrally placed kitchen and the chefs preparing the meat over the flaming BBQ's and grills. Be prepared to share meat cuts as they don't have many cuts under 500g..as they say "when they're gone, they're gone"
