The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. Lovely venue. Warmly greeted and shown to our table. We were the first and ambience was extremely quiet. A good display of sandwiches both iriginal and vegetarian. Felt the sandwiches was made in advance as the bread had crusted. We ate them anyway. Cakes were lovely but small portions. But my friend and I had a lovely time catching up.

Food was delicious served by very pleasant staff. Glad we'd booked, as our table was in an area away from the main throng. The lighting may not have been as pleasing, (a little bright), but at least it was away from the screaming kids. Noise levels in the main body of the area were high.
