The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour. Lovely evening - great music but experience was marred a little because it’s really noisy - so you can’t hear the singer. Which is a real shame. The menu was a little strange. OK but odd. Overall a lovely evening. The staff are aaaammmmmaaaaazing. In central London to have staff like that? Huge achievement.

The food and service were excellent. The ground floor was full, so we sat downstairs which was empty other than our table. The ambiance would likely have been much better on a busier night.
