Utter Waffle - a gem within the South London brunch scene! We opened our Herne Hill restaurant in 2021, and since have become an institution in Herne Hill's small but awesome food scene. Since our launch, we've collected a small cabinet of trophies and awards, and have even cooked our savoury waffles on Masterchef, Sunday Brunch & Saturday Kitchen!Our busy brunch restaurant serves everything from fried chicken & waffles and our signature avo smash, to bottomless brunch & craft beers. For those with a sweet tooth - fret not as the desserts are pretty good too - (we're even the proud winners of The Best Dessert in the UK (British Street Food Awards)), so there really is something for everyone! We pride ourselves on a super-inclusive menu and ability to cater for those with dietary requirements; We're co-owned by a coeliac, don't handle any gluten on-site, plus we boast loads of vegetarian and vegan options too! Welcome to SW16 Bar & Kitchen! It is our absolute pride and joy to have our little place on Streatham Hill. We opened up three years ago and we’ve been serving you wonderful lot ever since. We aren’t trying to reinvent the wheel here, we just want to offer everybody a space where you can feel utterly at home, accompanied by simple, seasonal dishes that reflect our Executive Chef Antonio’s Puglian home. We’ve set it as our mission to really show you what hospitality can really mean. Generosity, warmth and kindness is at our core and I hope you can come in and feel at ease with us. I’m the one out front, pouring you wine or making you a cocktail and hopefully petting a dog or two. I really do intend to have a natter with each and every one of you so be prepared! We’ve got plenty going on, with regularly changing menus to keep things exciting but that core will remain the same throughout. I can’t wait to see you all.
