We are a family owned business located in the centre of York by the River Ouse. Our bar and bistro has gained a reputation for a wide range of beers and spirits coupled with an excellent selection of wines and champagnes. Close to The Grand Opera House and city centre, Plonkers is an ideal place to meet with friends or colleagues for a relaxed drink.Weekends at Plonkers can have a party atmosphere where you can relax after work with friends. Upstairs seats approximately 26 but we can cater for buffets for around 40 people with some standing.     Excellent food and menu choices. Service was prompt and efficient without feeling rushed. The pub was full but we could still have a conversation. We will definitely be back.

    Booking is very easy, we choose off the normal menu today, wev tried Sunday lunches before and are very nice. Our table was reserved for us ordered drinks an food at the bar like requested too. Food was hot quick & delicious. Will certainly be back great value for money, warm & welcoming a very busy with locals a great atmosphere. New drinks put on this week neck oil & inches both on draft, plenty of signs inside and outside the pub to enter car reg details. Cheers guys wel be back very soon 👌x
