Bata is a restaurant designed to celebrate the best our region has to offer. We cook over a live oak fire, on our custom fabricated hearth. Our menu changes daily. We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. The cocktail list highlights the best products of the season, with a carefully curated list of spirits from across the globe. I understand that the location you’re at right now is temporary but that patio is wonderful! My family and I had a great time celebrating my sister’s birthday. The food was excellent so was the surface.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner! Right as we were ordering, our server let us know they were shorthanded and that was slowing things down. She offered to buy us a dessert- which was very kind! Drinks were yummy (they even have Mexican Coke!) as was our food. Some of the neighboring tables were a bit loud- but not so bad as to really disrupt the meal (and certainly not in the restaurant’s control). The only real drawback is the restroom - which is outside the restaurant and up a flight of stairs (and requires a passcode). Otherwise - a great meal!

The pizza is delicious and the pasta even better. They were out of a lot of wines but were able to find a very delicious suitable substitute!

Had dinner before heading to a concert Seating was quick and on time Offered choice of seating We dined outside on the patio A heater was brought over immediately Very attentive! Good service throughout the meal We had the duck stew and flank steak Both were delicious! I would have liked a bread with the stew, would be my only recommendation. Great atmosphere! Highly recommend
