The Bottle Boy began life in 1860, and was primarily known as a Spirit Grocers. A quirk of a Spirit Grocers was that you couldn’t sit down and beer was sold in bottles brought to you by The Bottle Boy. Whilst we’ve retained tonnes of the original detail – like the cornices, fireplaces, flooring – we’ve added in cosy snugs and lots of seating, perfect for a pint of plain. So why not grab a pre-gig or pre-show drink at The Bottle Boy before attending a gig at 3Arena or a show at Bord Gais Energy Theatre.The Bottle Boy is a proper pub with snugs, open fire, a courtyard – and a barbers. Love this place. Only second time visiting, but it is a really cool spot. Great for that fun, laugh aloud dinner and drinks night out with friends, no pretentiousness or fancy frills… straight up tequila shots, margaritas, and tacos ❤️. Margaritas are amazing, and the food is really good! Last time we went with a group and we ordered a selection of taco’s and margaritas to try as much as possible on the menu. The tacos are amazing!!! This time with just the two of us, I was able to pick my favourites, which wasn’t easy as everything is kinda delicious! I also love both the J-Dilla and the triple-z so we ordered them as sides with our tacos! Staff are amazing, really friendly and super attentive… never a dry glass 😁 100% recommend this place, and I will definitely be going back.
