The Pub The Cricketers is a country pub and dining rooms with a large beer garden and outdoor patio dining in the summer. The pub is a beautifully refurbished and extended early 19th century public house. Once known to the locals as “The Old Orchard House”, we really are a hidden gem on Cricketers Lane in Warfield, just a short drive from Ascot Racecourse, Legoland and Bracknell. We are family friendly and also happy to welcome dogs into our bar and garden areas as we always have a jar of dog treats in the porch. We are proud of the provenance of our locally grown products where we work with The Royal Farms, Windsor artisans and our very own herb and vegetable gardens. This restaurant was named in recognition of the signing of the Magna Carta in the year 1215. The Magna Carta, which is one of the most important documents in history and indeed of medieval England was signed only a short walk from the hotel in the historic grounds of Runnymede.Children's Policy: No under 12 year olds.

    Staff is just perfect, they’re attentive and friendly. Food was amazing and it’s great to see more vegan options, 2 other companions said that’s the best beef wellington they had. Well done everyone!

    The experience mirrored what had been advertised. The balance was excellent and the taste delicious. Our comments at table were welcomed and passed on. In an exceptional menu the only downer was the tiramisu which was more of a cake, rather dry and not really a complement to what had gone before .

    We have been here a few times now for roast, always fantastic food (Yorkshire puds are massive!) and service is great also. The nice chap that took us to our table actually moved us to a quieter table on his own accord which was a nice touch and near the tv so we could watch the rugby. We will be back again very soon!
