Originally built in 1518, the building was the very first Guildhall in Windsor which was the meeting place for the Trinity Guild (the town traders) which since the 13th Century has provided the governing body for the town until it was turned into an inn & public house in 1689. There has been a pub on this site for almost 500 years and is one of the oldest establishments in the town, only a few of which are still standing.Located on Market Street, The Prince Harry is only 50 metres from Windsor Castle. We have zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour.The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from. The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

A unique little restaurant with a good vibe. Good atmosphere and friendly service. Mains were reasonably priced but sides felt expensive for the size portion (red cabbage for example). The meat eaters enjoyed their mains (pork belly/chicken supreme) but I wouldn’t recommend place for vegetarians. Only one main (celeriac steak) that really wasn’t very nice. I’ve been vegetarian for 25plus years and don’t consider myself picky but I couldn’t finish it. I would go back if the vegetarian options were improved/more diverse.

Good parking availability. Friendly staff and they know their food, which they can explain what the dishes are. Very good service, staff kept checking and make sure your water are topped up. Good quality food, definitely enough for a normal person. Tried the fish and chips and it was perfectly cooked.
