August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Outstanding food in an unpretentious space. Don’t let the prices put you off. The meals are to share and for 4 people we shared 2 mains, but had 4 entrees and 6 oysters. The oysters were surprising - I don’t even like oysters, but these were magnificent. Seriously delicious food and great wines.

Went to the restaurant for a birthday and it was a memorable experience. The staff were very welcoming and kind and were on point with service. The best dish of the night was the house speciality Ragu De Pappardelle as you can taste the freshness of the pasta alongside the balance between herbs and spices within the bolognese. The restaurant were very accomodating with Gluten Free substitutes and offered the same quality food across all meals.
