Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. There’s also a 20-seat private dining room. We use only the finest ingredients such as Japanese Black Cattle made in Australia for beef, Sashimi and Seafood fresh from the sea.     The entire experience at Bathers is absolutely amazing. My partner and I came in peak Valentines Day lunchtime foot traffic and everything was just amazing. As a chef and currently a musician I understand how busy this time of year can be but these guys managed to make you feel special on this insanely busy day! Great work from top to bottom!

    After moving overseas I haven’t been to Garfish for some years. It was great to go back and find it was as fantastic as I remembered. They always deliver - delicious food, excellent service and a buzzy atmosphere. One of my favourite places.

    It was a no brainer to go for the $69 banquet. Entrees were all delicious and arrived together. When stuff realised we were in no hurry they offered to hold back the main until We were ready to eat again. Or man were delicious too. There was more than we could eat so we took some home. We were all absolutely blown away by it mango sorbet. I only regret was that there were no other customers until we were just leaving! Would highly recommend? We look forward to returning soon
