Good authentic food , small but perfect menu, excellent customised service they really explained the dishes then listened and delivered what we wanted

Recently went to the Hare & Billet for a lovely roast, was excited to see they offer a vegan wellington roast as an option online. However was disappointed upon learning that it’s no longer an option and had been taken off the menu when we were getting our orders taken. Luckily we had a fantastic server, Nathaniel who went above and beyond to offer options so that I could still enjoy the roast that I’d be looking forward too with a few tweaks here and there. Ended up having a lovely meal regardless! Thank you, Nathaniel & chefs at the Hare & Billet!

Excellent service from the staff, friendly and cheerful. The food was wonderful and dessert was to die for. Would recommend a Sunday lunch there.

A really nice lunch menu and the dogs were kept quiet with the offer of treats on the side. Great service and will be back soon.

Amazing food as always. I would highly recommend dining at The Blacksmiths Arms. A large group ordered just before us but it was certainly worth the wait. We had two scampi and chips, one steak and ale pie and I had the most delicious ham,egg and chips resulting in four empty plates! 😋
