Open Tuesday to Sunday with food served all day from noon.We now have 3 Giant heated Tipis, they provide lots of fresh air and a lovely open environment, they are also heated.Formerly an 18th Century farmhouse boasting exposed beams, oak floors, exposed brickwork and oak tables. This leads to a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere with candle lit tables and real flame stoves.The cuisine is typically modern European, classically cooked using cornerstones such as stock pots to create their sauces with a brigade that has a passion for what they do. Lunch for 2. Excellent location, comfortable and welcoming environment, tables nicely spaced, well thought-out menu and specials, good cooking, portions and presentation on the plate, decent wine list at sensible prices, charming staff, not rushed although we lingered until gone 5pm, overall a very satisfying and enjoyable experience. Value for money and highly recommended.

Lovely starters and pudding but main course disappointing. I had roast beef but the Yorkshire puddings were overcooked and beef difficult to cut. I also prefer to add my own gravy as it smothered the plate. We hoped to add Salomon's to our shortlist for wedding venues but the food unfortunately did not have that extra special quality. However the staff were very good and helpful in letting us look at the wedding areas.
