A favourite of Clapham Junction's Northcote Road since 1990 - an awfully long time in the London restaurant scene - Osteria Antica Bologna is as fresh and thrilling an Italian restaurant as the day it first opened its doors. It conjures up images of hidden away village osterias in the wild countryside of Emilia Romagna or the rolling hills of Tuscany, its cheerful welcome befitting of an old family favourite. Chef Marzio Zacchi passionately believes in using fresh, locally sourced and seasonal produce having grown up in Biella in the Piemonte countryside surrounded by a family who reared chickens, grew veg and cured their own salami. However, despite his rustic upbringing, Marzio has brought to Osteria Antica Bologna’s food the kind of sophistication that can only be gained through several years training in top London restaurants including Zafferano, Rosmarino, Spiga and Alloro.We look forward to welcoming you soon.

We had a very good dinner and perfect service - kind attentive but not fussy. We were two old friends who had not seen each other for a long time. It was the perfect place for a catch up and we were given a quiet table at the back.

Absolutely loved our visit to Charlotte’s Cloud for breakfast. There was a buzz about the place and a constant stream of customers for take away and eat in orders. My husband was delighted with his eggs Benedict, he said it was delicious and my granola bowl with fruit was gorgeous. The coffee was fab too. I just wished we had more time to rețurn before going back home to sample more but we will just have to make sure we call the next time we are in London.
