Always a lovely time, if it’s lunch, dinner, winter or summer!

From entering the establishment we were greeted with a very warm welcome. we were able to have a leisurely drink prior to our meal and was also offered the opportunity to have our meal earlier. the food was delicious and the service was very efficient and the staff were very polite and friendly. will definitely be returning again.

Nice atmosphere and fantastic food. Bill was very reasonable and the service was excellent. We had a nice chat with the manageress who was very nice and told us about all the events they do. Been before and will definitely go again!

We were celebrating a joint family birthday and I had travelled from Sussex to come to the Olde Dog for the first time. We all had roast dinners which were absolutely delicious but could have been served a bit warmer. The starters were very good, crispy prawns and whitebait. The whitebait were plump and cooked perfectly with a lovely crisp coating. The pork crackling was excellent and all the vegetables were cooked really well. The pub was very cold but the staff explained about the issues with the boiler and alternative heaters were provided and it did warm up eventually. I look forward to coming back again! Thank you.
