Beste hotspotrestaurants in Hitchin

I’ve never been to Hitchin so I was relying on Google for recommendations. What an amazing find! Attentive staff with a fantastic menu. It was a freezing cold night and to be greeted by industrial heaters in the ceiling was just perfect. This is a beautiful open space with a mix of covers and bar. I would love for there to be some live music happening and I’m sure there is. The food was well thought out and the drinks menu was a great compliment.

Another great meal at the Kite. Service was excellent and it wasn't too noisy as most tables were occupied by couples. We had starters of mussels, arancini and cauliflower croquettes, followed by short rib pie with decadent clotted cream mash, and bavette. Deserts of Rhubarb crumble to finish. All excellent. only small criticism, the black garlic aioli wasn't black and tasted a bit too vinegary and not of garlic. our son recommended the Sunday lunch to a friend who said it was great too. We look forward to our next visit!

Not our first time going and won’t be our last, everything was incredible service, food, cider!! Absolute 10/10, had the best chocolate tart of my life thanks to the brilliant Rosie. Thank you so much for looking after us!

Amazing food, proper bbq food and thankfully not covered in sauce. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Great range of drinks including non-alcoholic drinks. It is expensive but as a celebration it was worth it. We had the pitmaster platter between two of us, plenty of food, without any going to waste. We cannot wait to go back, really highly recommended!

My wife and I went to Lavish for Valentine’s Day evening meal . It was our first visit to the restaurant. The service was Excellent! Yanik the gentleman who looked after us was very welcoming , friendly and a gentleman. We were given plenty of time to select our drinks and food. The food roast lamb was delicious and the portions were Generous. The rest of the menu looked equally inviting and we will certainly visit the restaurant again to try other dishes on the menu. All other staff were very friendly and were always smiling. The restaurant had made a great effort in decorating the place for Valentine’s Day.
