Beste hondvriendelijke restaurants in Axminster

We travelled from mid-Somerset once again to enjoy one of our favourite places and lunch venue. The food was as good as ever, delicious fish soup and fish pie. Our only disappointment was that, while the staff were as efficient as always, there was no warmth or smiles when we arrived or when we were served. Feeling welcome is an essential element when we dicide whther to come back again.

Great food and atmosphere, friendly staff, it was a very cold day and snowing so it was a warm cosy welcome with the open fire burning

Lovely cream tea. Generous large pots of tea, and lots of scones and cream. Superb service. Very authentic

Visited a number of times and always found it a pleasant experience. Today it was crowded, so a little noisy, but you can’t blame the restaurant for that. All-in-all, highly recommended.

Supper Evening with the Pie special. Not our first time here and definitely not our last. Thank you to all the team - food was delicious (Beef and Ale pie followed by apple pie) served in a very calm atmosphere. We were looked after very well by the front of house team.
