The Duke has been a core part of Hampstead life since 1721 and boasts a rich history and heritage.Now, after a brief period of restoration, the pub has reopened under the management of Hampstead-born brothers Ben and Ed and their childhood friend Adam. OUR STORY Like many Persian families in UK, my fondest childhood memories were created around the dinner table, where beloved family recipes became lifelong favorites. Every Persian will tell you that their mother’s cooking is unparalleled! With The Tahdig, I aimed to capture those nostalgic feelings while reimagining classic dishes using seasonal British ingredients. The vibrant spices, flavorful dips, tangy pickles, and abundant herbs are the tastes of my youth.
