Crispin at Studio Voltaire is a 50-cover modern European restaurant and counter bar located in leading gallery and arts organisation Studio Voltaire.The kitchen, lead by Michael Miles, delivers classic and seasonal menus showcasing the best produce of the British Isles from small-scale and independent producers. Expect modern takes on European and British classics, fresh pastas, charcoal-grilled meat and fish, seasonal vegetables, and comforting desserts. Alongside an array of sustainable tap wines each season’s wine list will bring a focus to 4 different winemakers, celebrating their individual stories. Now, a few years later we have lovely local following that come in droves, especially at the weekend.Although open all year round, from springtime onwards you can sit outside on the terrace with a negroni, glass of prosecco or a craft beer and transport yourself to Italy, surrounded by festoon lights and olive trees. Inside, you'll find two beautiful rooms with an open kitchen that spreads across the two sides. If you're lucky and book enough in advance, you could hire the side room for a private booking (up to 40 people).
