'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe,has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to theThames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toastspread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered themagain when we returned for Sunday lunch. The Swan in Chiswick dates back to 1871 but we are positively new occupants having only arrived in 2002.We strive to keep the pub very much a pub while offering a Mediterranean-inspired menu that’s won many followers over the years.We have a cosy fire for the winter and a wonderful garden for the summer – it truly feels like a hidden gem and well worth a visit.Hopefully you can find everything you need to know here on the website but we’d much rather welcome you in person! Good experience, lovely decor, good staff though they did overhear the convo and joined in. Not sure what I think about that! With all of these types of restaurants, I think the food is over priced but that is the way of the world. I would feel better paying a cover charge and a charge for service, as that is why I go there, versus over priced food.

A good venue for a pre Rugby lunch a little away from the stadium. Menu and wine list is not extensive but good quality and good value.
