On the doorstep of the bustling Borough Market, the first Casa do Frango lies within a converted 19th-century industrial warehouse, a building full of character, complete with vaulted ceilings, arched windows and relics of the past. Casa’s menu is inspired by the rich culinary history of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean. True to Portuguese tradition, there is an emphasis on cooking over a wood-charcoal grill. The restaurant has become known for piri-piri chicken, with perfectly caramelised skin and a deep flavour which comes from a brush of Casa’s secret piri-piri blend. Went to Camille for a Friday lunch and would definitely go back - great food and service. Felt very French. Bit pricey but you could tell the ingredients are top quality and everything was perfectly cooked.

Ordered the scotch egg but it wasn’t runny as it should have been, Sunday roast beef was lovely although I did think a little pricey and only one carrot! Not enough veg or had to order as a side , I think when you’re paying £38 for a roast you could give more than one carrot. It was very nice and I thought where we sat was lovely over looking the market , however I did find this part of the restaurant very dark of we hadn’t have been over looking the market it wouldn’t have been the best for me.
