We are a family owned business located in the centre of York by the River Ouse. I cannot recommend The Rise enough. This was my chosen venue for my birthday treat from my son. To coin a phrase: “ Our meal tonight was spectacular!” I’m my words: “perfection!” The beef wellington was mouthwatering and the suggested paired wine made it all the more perfect! The service was first class and our waiter was both attentive and professional, Thank you TK all at The Rise. 🍷

Our first visit here and could not fault the experience. My flat iron steak with side orders was perfect. Not a crumb left. Hubby’s pork cheek very tender and the beef burger did not disappoint. I finished old school with Baked Alaska the perfect end to our meal. Ronnie was our main waiter but all staff looked after us really well. Great ambience and looking forward to returning.

Went for Wifes Birthday we go to Collingham quite often it’s just easy to get to and find staff food and reception fantastic so again had a great evening even brought a cake out with candle

We had a very pleasant Afternoon Tea in the Belmont Room at Betty's. The good food, excellent service, warm surroundings and piano entertainment made a very special Birthday celebration. Thank you to all the Staff at Betty's.

Our food was amazing! So tasty and all dietary requirements met including a last minute change from the chef which gave me great confidence that my needs were met re CC. The venue was very busy but we were seated promptly and never had to wait for food or drinks. A lovely evening!
