Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Live music and niche little magic entertainers are a regular occurrence. With an open alfresco feel in the summer, looking out on to the Green itself and a pavement terrace in warmer months too. Good location, nicely laid out interior and welcoming staff. Menu offered was amazing and varied with a great selection of quintessential Italian delights. Quality of food was outstanding, fresh, flavoursome and good portions - ambience was as expected but we did eat at a quieter time and confident it gets busy due to quality of food on offer. Overall really enjoyed our experience and highly recommended.

I thought the food was amazing. We made a couple of requests like a birthday dessert and a window seat which were met. We had a young girl serve our table and she was awesome. Over all great birthday dinner for Dad :-)

lovely meal as always. However lots of new staff, and trying to get a clear order was difficult . There is no kids menu, but they said they the would give a smaller portion size, which is fine, however, they kept getting confused with which meal was a kids meal and which wasnt - and we had to go back and forth with the waiters approx 5 times to confirm/ Other than that, it was a lovely meal. My recommendation would be to get a Kids Menu - it can be the same as the main menu but it will just make it clear to them what people are ordering.
