On the doorstep of the bustling Borough Market, the first Casa do Frango lies within a converted 19th-century industrial warehouse, a building full of character, complete with vaulted ceilings, arched windows and relics of the past. Casa’s menu is inspired by the rich culinary history of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean. True to Portuguese tradition, there is an emphasis on cooking over a wood-charcoal grill. The restaurant has become known for piri-piri chicken, with perfectly caramelised skin and a deep flavour which comes from a brush of Casa’s secret piri-piri blend. Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. Went to Camille for a Friday lunch and would definitely go back - great food and service. Felt very French. Bit pricey but you could tell the ingredients are top quality and everything was perfectly cooked.
