Open Tuesday to Sunday with food served all day from noon.We now have 3 Giant heated Tipis, they provide lots of fresh air and a lovely open environment, they are also heated.Formerly an 18th Century farmhouse boasting exposed beams, oak floors, exposed brickwork and oak tables. This leads to a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere with candle lit tables and real flame stoves.The cuisine is typically modern European, classically cooked using cornerstones such as stock pots to create their sauces with a brigade that has a passion for what they do. Stunning food at a really reasonable price for the level of quality. The Jerusalem artichokes were a particularly enjoyable dish unlike anything I’d eaten before. Wine flight excellent value too with two glasses of sparkling wine to begin! With only ten covers, as a diner you just have to prepare yourself for how intimate the restaurant is. The modern music playing disguises conversations from other tables well and a table of six provided plenty of atmosphere but I suspect that if five couples were dining it might feel a little intense. Overall a brilliant meal though; my favourite meal for a few years.

We’ve eaten at The Angel, Addington for years. It’s always been a great place for food, great beer and choice of wine. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It’s kept very well, clean and well decorated. Just the best out on the terrace on a sunny day or warm summer evening.
