All our beef is hung for at least 21 days and our white fish is sustainable – so our Battered North Sea Haddock and hand cut chips is a favourite dish with great provenance, too. Reservations are for food bookings only – all drinks are first come, first served. Not trying too hard, not overly complicated, and EXACTLY what you are looking for; our menu is the fox's knees. We have got a great selection of Scottish beers on tap, and have recently created an extensive cocktail menu for you to sip on while you catch up with friends. From the kitchen, you can expect feel good pub dishes with a twist made from fresh, seasonal ingredients – we think yer granny would even approve!     4 people had lunch, the food was plentiful and great quality, we all thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. Lovely and cosy in the upper section seated in a booth, very comfortable. Extremely friendly and efficient staff, lovely girl served us, gave recommendations which we went with. Overall a tip top experience thank you X

    Having read some of the reviews I wasn’t sure this would be a great experience. It was the best afternoon tea I have ever had. Everything on the cake stand was fresh and delicious. The waiter was lovely, very good at his job. Being a Tuesday it was quiet but very enjoyable. The only downside was it was a little pricey but I guess you get what you pay for.
