Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 24/25 AA Restaurant of the Year (England). Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal. The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden. Vegans, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements receive an equally special dining experience. The Greyhound also has a diverse wine list, which won an AA Notable Wine List Award. We are situated at Windsor Racecourse Marina, (next door to Windsor Racecourse), and we have lovely views over the marina and Windsor racecourse. During the summer enjoy alfresco dining on our lower deck and refreshing beverages on the top deck. During the colder months cosy up next to the roaring fire in our Shebeen where we serve our full menu We are dog friendly throughout so you can bring your pet pooch as long as they are well behaved. There's free parking, lovely relaxed seating, a lively Shebeen bar and friendly staff waiting to serve exotic meats, espetadas - (our signature dish which is a skewer of meat or seafood, dripping with marinade over your side dish), sticky ribs and much more. Lovely South African wines, creative cocktails, extensive range of gins and even Don Pedros the South African 'milkshake cocktail'.

Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from. The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

I chose the Greene Oak for a family birthday meal as the food never disappoints and we always receive great service. Today was no exception and they even did a small birthday dessert as a surprise which was much appreciated. We will be back again soon!

The staff were amazing, friendly, attentive and very polite and pleasant. Overall we had a great afternoon. The only thing I would like to mention is that the roast lamb was very tough and rubbery on the day. Most of us actually left the meat as it was hard to chew.

Food was lovely and service generally good until our bill arrived which contained beers on it that weren't ours. It was rectified quickly and apologies accepted.

Loved this place. First time that my husband and I have been. Staff were Amazing. Food absolutely delicious. Can’t praise the staff enough. The service is on par with Limewood and The Ivy. Sommelier listened to my likes and dislikes and she was spot on! We will return very soon. I hope we won”t be disappointed!
