Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Ssamjang is a traditional dipping sauce made from soybean paste and red pepper paste. It is slightly sweet and intensely savory. It is commonly used for Korean bbq dipping sauce and for lettuce wraps (sambap). Get creative and show us your ideas to use Ssamjang! Our restaurant has a full bar with TV's to watch your favorite game.We are located down the street from the Battery/Truist Park and inside Cumberland Mall.
