Lovely. The waitress was fantastic. My husband loved the Lamb Shank. The ambience was perfect. I found the cost of the food very reasonable compared to the quality. It really is difficult to eat out these days because the food quality is so poor and the pricing so high. I found the value here to be exceptional. Thank you for making our anniversary special.

First visit to Scratch in Mountain View and overall I rate it a solid 4 all around. Located in upbeat and trendy Castro Street. Our party of three enjoyed good food and drinks in a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was courteous and attentive. We endulged in the Fried Chicken with Baked Beans and delicious Cornbread. Accompanied with a side order of Macaroni and Cheese. We also ordered The Seafood Ciopinno and a gourmet style Hamburger with Bacon and a Side Salad with a Creamy Vinaigrette. I started my meal with a Single Malt Whiskey that paired wonderfully wth my Bacon Burger! Dressy Casual I believe to be suitable attire. The bill for the dinner and drinks wasn't too bad. Would definitely return

Lovely dining room, very friendly and fun team took care of us and our steak, katsu, roasted cauliflower and panzanela salad were excellent. Also, the Opolo Cabernet was superb. To top it off there was great live music making it a perfect date night out!

I had not been in many years but Birks was as good as I remembered!

We were there on a night with street music on Murphy so more crowded than usual and maybe a bit understaffed. They created additional seating for us outside which was great. Food was ok and the menu was eclectic but sufficient to offer many choices with a large wine and beer selection. They looked to have a full bar inside but only served wine and beer which was fine for us. Service was a little slow but there were a couple of large parties that took up time. Overall we were happy with our experience.
