Established in 1996, Porcini restaurant quickly became a favorite destination for neighborhood and locals alike.
Leading the "BYOB Renaissance" in Philadelphia, Owners Maîtred David, and Exec. Chef Steven Sansone combine their knowledge in fine dining, and Trattoria style to create a unique, memorable upscale casual dining experience.

Fresh house made pastas and focus on authentic product's imported from Sicily, Italy and neighboring Mediterranean countries. Theses items are paramount to Chef Sansone's family and regional recipes. They were very busy but very accomodating. The menu is fairly limited, but it is a small restaurant. A pleasant dining event

Excellent food and service if you don’t like tight spaces and other diners seating very close to you this may not be your spot….but we thought it was cozy and added to the festive experience….food was excellent and despite no room for servers to move around the Sevice was excellent. So we definitely be back..the owner was there and very attentive to his guests

Fantastic food and enjoyment. The owners, David and Steve are very engaging, with excellent service. The Italian food is one of the best in Philadelphia. A place to enjoy food and friendships.

Excellent friendly staff and service, outstanding Italian cooking, just a wee bit cold upstairs on a chilly winter evening. Would go again in a heartbeat!

The most delicious Italian food in Philadelphia- each dish is amazing. The eggplant special was phenomenal, filetto is define, and Cesar salad is just the best. The pastas are hand maid, and the chicken Milanese is amazing. We love that Chef Steve visits each table and that David and the rest of the staff are personable and attentive. A family favorite for more than 20 years! Thank you, Porcini! And the tiramisu!
