Welcome to the Puddicombe House, award winning casual fine dining in an elegantly restored 1868 mansion in downtown New Hamburg. Executive Chef Jammie Monk leads the culinary team. The restaurant has been named to the Open Table Top 100 Restaurants to Dine Outdoors in Canada and the top 100 Romantic Restaurant in Canada.                                                                     We chose to dine in an intimate outdoor setting and it was perfect. It was like eating in a snow globe. My daughter will be getting married this year and has chosen Puddicombe house as her wedding venue, we can’t wait to make more memories at this special place.

                                                                    Probably my favourite fine dining establishment in the KW and surrounding area. Better tasting, price point and slightly larger portions, than S&V Uptown and Elora/Cambridge Mill. Service was pleasantly attentive and quick!

                                                                    The blackened cod was excellent. The lamb shank was super, but too much couscous. The table by the bay window is a lovely spot, very formal, and needs a white tablecloth (the marble table top was cold).

                                                                    Food was a little over cooked. Felt like our apps were sitting there for a while. Perogies were over cooked. Main courses were good but the pork routand was hard to cut through since the prosciutto was over cooked. Dessert was amazing and enjoyable.

                                                                    We sat in one of the outside gazebos, the atmosphere was perfect. Warm, quiet and beautiful! The service and food was just as you would expect and more. Great experience!
