Executive Chef Domenic Tudda spent his childhood years learning of Italian cuisine while his family owned and operated Stromboli's restaurant in Calgary. He furthered his education by undergoing extensive culinary training in Italy and has been able to continue his parent's legacy of bringing unique and incredibly authentic Italian dining to Calgarians. One of the most revered of these ventures is Ristorante Pulcinella, where Domenic first earned distinction when his international training crossed borders and entered Calgary in the spring of 2006. One of the few APN (Associazione Pizzaioli Napolitani) certified pizzerias in the world, Domenic has been able to showcase his culinary skills, incredible wine knowledge, and passion for Italian cuisine to provide Calgary with a truly artistic, original and delicious experience not soon to be forgotten. Certainly not your classical North American pizza, it's definitely different, but definitely delicious.

                              With tomato sauce. All of our pizzas include fresh basil (except tartufo) and are topped with our own extra virgin olive oil. Our mozzarella is fior di latte. We use parmigiano reggiano and only the finest cured meats and cheeses imported from Italy. Gluten free pizza: add $3; buffalo mozzarella can be substituted on any of our pizzas: add $8. The True Napoletana Tradition. Long considered to be the premier pizza style in Italy, Neapolitan pizza is cooked in a high-temperature wood burning oven. The characteristic charring of the underside of the crust is the result of this traditional baking process and adds to the distinct flavour of our finished pizzas

                                                                                              The pizza was good but spendy and not award worthy. The service was great and we loved our waitress, friendly and funny. The atmosphere was cold, very loud to the point we couldn’t even have a conversation across our two person table. It may make a good lunch place but not a place where you want to take your girl on a date night.

                                                                                              We ended up ordering two appetizers and couldn’t decide on a pizza. The salad looked like it was a bag salad from a grocery store and the bread for the bruschetta was soggy. The food was so bad that we got our bill and did not get a pizza.

                                                                                              Celebrated my wife’s birthday with friends. Server was excellent, prices reasonable, food very yummy and bill at the end was less than anticipated. The Tudda family history at this location is still strong from when we first started to frequent it in 1974 as Stromboli’s.
