Here at the 1269 we pair fine cuisine, cooked with locally sourced ingredients with an incredible selection of drinks made from premium spirits, all served up in the chic, contemporary interior of our restaurant. Great ambience, superb food. A bit pricey but for the occassion in which we were celebrating it was money well spent.

I would eat elsewhere. Menu is all boil in bag/reheat stuff. Chicken was dry. "king" prawn starter was one king prawn and a load of tiny ones in tasteless sauce. Quite bright/poor ambience.

Beautiful restaurant, all staff were so friendly and helpful food wasn’t rushed out (which I hate), food was stunning to a very high standard. Would highly recommend.

I spent a day at the spa for my sister in laws 40th birthday and we finished our day in the restaurant. It was superb, we received a warm welcome on entering the restaurant and the lovely lady made us feel special all evening, in fact all the staff did! The food was delicious, efficient service and good value. We’ve received a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival to start our celebration and the evening finished with birthday chocolates and the staff singing happy birthday. It was a fantastic evening, there was even live music, apparently this happens most weekends. Definitely recommend and will be returning soon. Please also thank Siana from the Spa, she also provided excellent customer service.

Restaurant is overpriced for quality of food. Starters were cold and poor quality. Steak was very chewy and Seabass was very dry. Same salad used for 2 different starters out of the packet. Not authentic at all. Overall a terrible experience. I will never eat in this restaurant again.

Very accommodating staff - added tables as our group expanded for late arrivals (pre wedding) and took late orders thank you!

Store Red wine in a fridge!! Sent it back for one at room temp. Everything I ordered they didn't have. However, food was nice and tasty

From start to finish our Mother's Day experience was appalling ... kept waiting for 29 minutes for our 1pm booking .. once seated orders were taken the time span between each order was long .... the wrong starter was brought out and sent back .. It was delicious so that was ok .. Main meal Yorkshire pudding over cooked and possibly recooked .. the beef was cooked in some places then undercooked too .. sent back and came back like leather . The dessert we were given we were told was cheesecake .. it was clearly the white mousse on the order that was still frozen .. . We were assured we were given cheesecake .. it was too frozen to eat .. I asked a waitress what the dessert was and she said it's mousse ... The manager said she was mistaken .. we were offered a bottle of Prosecco to make up for the afternoon which we declined . I paid for what we enjoyed and nothing more ... Not a great time for Mother's Day will not revisit ... extremely disappointing afternoon which lasted over 4 hours ...
